Vibes Web 3 Music Competition Week 14 - Sam Feldt 'Mi Amor' SHRED EDITION!
YES!! Coming in last minute as I had been away for a couple of days, but absolutely loving this one! Happy to have discovered some of Sam's music thanks to Vibes!
This week I am covering Sam Feldt's song 'Mi Amor' - and I gotta should out to JVKE and Anitta as they feature on this track!
A lot of my own music is pop punk, so there are some similarities here. When writing a song I am trying to find a hook, a riff, or something memorable that I can go back to and have people sing! Sure, I love to shred and play solos the most, but that doesn't equal a great song! So, in short, this way fun!
This is what Sam's tune would sound like with a lot of guitar added! Sam, if you ever want me on a track I'd love to lay down some licks :)
Had to go for it with some faster stuff, as it just comes naturally to me, but I tried to follow the melodies and just have fun with it :) what a cool song! I am pumped up after listening to it and more of SF's tunes!

I've heard that's you're a great guitarist and people are not wrong all.
At first I had thought that I've never watched your video before but watching today's video brings memories that I have watched them.
Now this lick you played is so awesome.
The guitar is one instrument I have been wanting to learn and I got myself a guitar because of that and started taking lessons.
Unfortunately, it got difficult (playing chords) so I had to let that lay low for a while, I know my comeback will be great hehe.
You are really talented and I would love to learn from you.

Oh cool! Yes, it sure can be a difficult journey learning guitar - the first 6 months are the most challenging! I am learning some new style at the moment (fingerstyle acoustic) and I honestly feel like a complete beginner again, it is very frustrating haha. I am happy to share more beginner lessons and give you tips whenever you'd need :)
