While My Guitar Gentle Weeps GUITAR SOLO (my own version)
Hello HIVE!:)
Here is my interpretation of this absolute classic by The Beatles. I remember many years ago I heard Peter Frampton's version of this and his solo absolutely BLEW ME AWAY! I was stunned, shook, staggered! I went down... but I got back up with a mission... to play! I picked up a guitar and went from there. That was around 15 years ago now, and here I am, releasing my own interpretation of this solo!
A little too elaborate? I just went with it :) so this is just an improv jam, but I am thinking of writing a minute or two solo to this track, and maybe recording the whole song in my own way! :)
This song is in Aminor, and I am using (mostly) the pentatonic blues scale here. I do add in some additional notes here and there but I just jam around this scale and position mostly. It is the most common scale to use for most rock guitar solos - of course there is the major scale, but most are in minor (most great rock solos anyway - not all, most ;) )

I was thinking earlier how amazing it is that we all have HIVE and YouTube at our fingertips. I love hive, of course, but find that YouTube is very accessable for videos and jam tracks. I might rock out over a blues track now :) how lucky are we!
On a side note, I have been reminded many times this week to be grateful for everything that we have and to really live for now. We don't know what is coming next, so let's enjoy today, work hard, and keep smiling! Enjoy everything you wonderful people!:) love to you all!

Yes I sure have man! Love that performance, and Prince's guitar solo was amazing. His Telecaster sounded great. Tom Petty too, what a legend!
