Hello to all the members of this community! On this occasion, I come to tell you about the experience I had recently supporting my sister @maisugar in her participation in an event in the musical nucleus to which she belongs, located in the town of Duaca (City of Barquisimeto-Venezuela). She has been working the last few months to learn to play the cello and for the musical event corresponding to the end of the year (since they were going on vacation after that), she invited me to come see her playing the one she it would be his first live piece. So I organized my schedule and went to town for a few days.

A month or so ago, I had been to another core presentation, in which the children were given the opportunity to demonstrate to the public what they had learned during the rehearsals. It was a pleasant experience, so I already knew more or less what the matter would be like. Only on this occasion, the entrance had a cost of only $1, whose funds were for the maintenance of the core facilities. That seemed like a good idea to me, since it was a small collaboration for a musical afternoon by young talents.

Once we got to the place, I was observing the decoration. As I really love the color green, I loved that they used the balloons in this color. And it is that the choice of this color was on purpose, since the theme of the concert was that of a farm, so the songs (mostly for children) were with that same setting, even the children wore their farmer outfits. It was quite adorable to see the little ones in their hats and plaid shirts.

When the concert began, those present could hear the participation of these talented children. From the children's choir, cuatristas, violinists and even keyboardists. The emotion of the parents when witnessing the acts of their children was enormous. Despite the heat that reigned in the venue, all the musicians gave their best effort to offer a dignified concert for their loved ones and other inhabitants of the town who had attended.

But just as those loving parents were happy to see their children on stage, I was very proud when my sister was called among the adults who are part of the nucleus. In addition to playing the cello, she also participates in the adult choir. For as long as I can remember, I have seen her passion for music and when I hear her sing, I can feel the dedication in her singing. Her voice is one of the strongest among the women in the choir (I think it's called soprano), that's why she told me that they place her in the center when she sings... that little fact seemed exciting to me, because it seems to me that singing is an incredible gift.

I had already heard my sister sing last time, but she had not dared to play the cello, so I was very aware of her participation this time. My sister, along with other violinists and musicians, played the song "Peaches Peaches Peaches by Mario Bross" and an instrumental from "The Lion King" to end the concert. According to my sister, she made a mistake during her performance, but despite that, I am proud that she was so focused on her performance. If it had been me, she would have given me a panic attack ha ha After all, I had seen her rehearsing the day before with quite a lot of effort.

The photos used here were taken with a Samsung J6 phone. The theater where the concert was held does not have good lighting, which prevents obtaining clear photographs. We hope that after the place has been used for these types of events, the managers will soon receive sufficient funds for the necessary improvements.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad! En ésta ocasión, vengo a hablarles de la experiencia de tuve hace poco apoyando a mi hermana @maisugar en su participación en un evento en el núcleo musical al cual pertenece, ubicado en el pueblo de Duaca (Ciudad de Barquisimeto - Venezuela). Ella se ha estado esforzando los últimos meses para aprender a tocar el violonchelo y para el evento musical correspondiente al cierre de fin de año (ya que se iban de vacaciones luego de eso), ella me invitó a que la fuese a ver tocando la que sería su primera pieza en vivo. De modo que organicé mi agenda y me fui al pueblo unos días.

Hace más o menos un mes, había estado en otra presentación del núcleo, en la cual le dieron la oportunidad a los niños de que demostrasen ante el público, lo que han aprendido durante los ensayos. Fue una grata experiencia, así que ya sabía más o menos cómo sería el asunto. Sólo que en ésta ocasión, la entrada tenía un costo de tan sólo 1$, cuyos fondos, eran para el mantenimiento de las instalaciones del núcleo. Aquello me pareció una buena idea, ya que se trataba de una pequeña colaboración por una tarde musical a cargo de jóvenes talentos.

Una vez que llegamos al lugar, estuve observando la decoración. Como me encanta mucho el color verde, me encantó que usaran los globos de éste color. Y es que la escogencia de éste color era adrede, dado que la temática del concierto era el de una granja, así que las canciones (la mayoría infantiles), eran con esa misma ambientación, incluso los niños, llevaron sus atuendos de granjeros. Fue bastante adorable ver a los pequeños con sus sombreros y camisas de cuadros.

Cuando el concierto dio comienzo, los presentes pudimos escuchar la participación de estos talentosos niños. Desde el coro coro infantil, cuatristas, violinistas y hasta tecladistas. La emoción de los padres al presenciar los actos de sus hijos, era enorme. A pesar del calor que reinaba en el recinto, todos los músicos dieron máximo esfuerzo para ofrecer un concierto digno para sus seres queridos y demás habitantes del pueblo que habían asistido.

Pero al igual como aquellos padres amorosos se alegraron al ver a sus hijos en el escenario, yo me sentí muy orgullosa cuando mi hermana, fue llamada entre los adultos que forman parte del núcleo. Ella, además de tocar el violonchelo, también participa en el coro de adultos. Desde que tengo memoria, he visto su pasión por la música y cuando la escucho cantar, puedo sentir lo entrega en el canto. Su voz, es una de las más fuertes entre las mujeres dentro del coro (creo que se llama soprano), por eso, ella me comentó que la colocan en el centro cuando canta... ese pequeño dato me pareció emocionante, pues me parece que el canto es un don increíble.

Ya había oído a mi hermana cantar la vez pasada, pero ella no se había atrevido a tocar el violonchelo, así que estuve muy al pendiente de su participación ésta vez. Mi hermana, junto a otros violinistas y músicos, tocaron para finalizar el concierto la canción "Peaches Peaches Peaches de Mario Bross" y un instrumental del "El rey león". Según mi hermana, se equivocó durante su ejecución, pero a pesar de ello, estoy orgullosa por mostrarse tan concentrada en su presentación. De haber sido yo, me hubiera dado un ataque de pánico ja ja Después de todo, la había visto ensayando el día anterior con bastante empeño.

Las fotografías aquí usadas fueron tomadas con un teléfono Samsung J6. El teatro en donde se realizó el concierto, no cuenta con una buena iluminación, lo que impide obtener fotografías nítidas. Esperamos que luego de que el lugar ha estado usándose para éste tipo de eventos, pronto los encargados reciban los fondos suficientes para las mejoras necesarias.
