As I reflect on the inspiration behind "You Reign", I sense it was born from contemplation of God's omnipotence, His unending authority, and the beauty of His lordship over creation. The chorus echoes "Jineke Jehovah" - God reigns - proclaiming the Almighty's exalted position as King of kings and Lord of lords. The song captures the awe of His dominion, the peace found in His rule, and the surrender of hearts to His glorious reign. In the lyrics, I express adoration for the One who sits on the throne, worthy of all praise and honor.

I selected you “reign” among many other songs I have written to perform here on Hive Music Festival because of my intention to lift up the truth of God's supreme authority - a truth that brings stability to souls, hope to nations, and unity to believers. On Hive Blockchain, where creativity intersects with community, I believe "You Reign" resonates with those who find refuge in God's sovereignty and seek to worship Him in spirit and truth. Presenting it here feels like joining voices with fellow believers in exalting the King.
