A7X launches TicketPass, A Blockchain-based system for rewards and verification

The heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold has recently announced that they are launching a new project called TicketPass. This is really cool news to me since I have been a fan of A7X since I was a kid and I just think it's really cool that they are interested in crypto and trying to build projects on it.
Let's talk a bit more about what TicketPass is and how you could benefit from using it.
Many of you may already know that nowadays getting a ticket to see your favorite band can be quite challenging. There are so many resellers nowadays that the actual fans are basically getting ripped off for a chance to see the band they love.
TicketPass which will operate on the Polygon network will act as a kind of rewards program. It works together with TicketMaster and works in a similar fashion to how 'Airline Rewards' systems work. Meaning if you've been to a concert before, purchased any merch, etc you would get a higher tier in the app and therefore be able to purchase tickets earlier than others can. There is also a token mentioned which will act as "Proof of Attendance". So each time you go to a show you would be given a token as proof. These will put you in the higher tiers. They also mentioned that their future merch will come with NFC tags that would allow verification. It's not all about buying tickets and merch though. They also want to have free rewards you can obtain through listening on Spotify. If you have been listening to them a lot lately then that might mean that there are some rewards in the works for you. The band is currently on tour and will be Beta testing the app on the second leg of the tour.

Can't say I love that last sentence when it usually is about crypto but I guess it's all pretty unclear still and we will have to wait and see how it all actually works. The idea behind it is really cool though and I kind of like the project. The fact that true fans will be able to always get the tickets on time and at the lowest prices is amazing. The real fans should be able to get some privileges imo.

Cool news for the ticketing world and even cooler news if you are an A7X fan in my opinion. I like the fact that they are trying to find a way to help real fans and destroy scalpers in the process. They are also pretty open about it just being in testing and it probably will take up to a year before they actually start putting people into tiers.
Anyway, I just found out about this news and I just really wanted to share it so here it is. I hope you find this as interesting as I did. Also I haven't been writing in a very long time so please excuse if it's all a bit messy. I am working on my writing and will hopefully improve lol.

Yeah they are really great.
Honestly would've preferred if they had done their own thing and compete vs ticket master itself seeing as how they treat their customers currently can't sy I have high hopes for ticket pass in that case, but let's see.
I've followed him on twitter for a while and noticed hea into nfts and eth. Would be cool if they dropped an nft project as well, might do even better than eminem considering their actually into the tech. :p
Yeah also seemed kind of weird to me that they would even want to team up with ticketmaster but let's see how it turns out I guess. Pretty sure they already dropped one called the Deathbat club or something.
