RE: 2020 - how do we remember it?

Looking back, I feel like 2020 was a glorious time, but I was definitely lucky to be in the right place: a hippie surfer town on the Mexican Pacific coast. We even built an amazing structure, and volunteered our time at the "filter" simply to get to know the guys in charge, and use the beach unbothered. (I love it when corruption is so accessible...!) Scrolling back, my blog is full of great stories about it. But one thing is sure: Had an actual policeman come up to me, smiling, and indicating something like "See, I don't have to use heavy force since you are so good at self-restricting," I probably would have gotten scared enough to leave the country.

Being in the right place can make a huge difference! Wow, a hippie surfer town - you lived a perfect 2020 😇

Off topic, de ma grízes tésztát csináltam, ahogy a nagymamám csinálta amikor kicsi voltam :)

Juj, grízes tészta!!! 😋 Írsz róla egy posztot? Sok szép fotóval? - Na jó, ha már megvan, akkor gondolom nincs sok kép a készítéséről, de nem baj. Akkor is szívesen látnám.

And if you're curious about the details of how I experienced the pandemic in the hippie surfer town, take a look at the posts from these two series: Earthship Theater Build in Mazunte (scroll down to the 14th post or so) and of course Covid in Paradise.

Thank you for the collection of your posts, I still didn't know you then, just at the end of this series, I caught up with one or two posts 😅.

Nem baj, majd legközelebb... Már várom! 😃

I'm glad you liked them. Funny, how I remember knowing you "for ages" but these 2020 events seemed to have happened "just recently".
