Introduction

We like to do currated playlists and also we are featured in hundreds of playlists on Spotify and wanted to higlight a few. We are always looking for suggestions for our playlist, so if you have a good idea then post a link to spotify in the comments!

This weeks playlist is all about the Funk which has so many classic songs, however what is the difference between funk and soul...what if they are a bit disco that is ok right?. We only just started this playlist so if you have a good suggestion then let us know in the comments! We could definitely be directed to some more modern funk, what is happening in the funk world these days? Everything we came up with is like classic old funk....

Maybe one of my fav funk bands, there is not question this is a Funk song and a classic one at that!

Now this has one of the greatest bass lines of all funk songs.....although we still hate that we had to pay them 50% royalties for a song we covered and remixed of theirs lol They are still awesome

Now one of the other boys loves this band and we been listening to them for years...however I dont think I ever saw a picture of them and was quite surprised by their spotify cover photo....so funky though and what a great bunch of musicians.

More laid back but just as cool....great simple bass line this one!

Now he is called the "Godfather of soul" so is it funk...feels funky to us! Saw him live once and he was incredible and his band were as tight as @stickupmusic wallet.
