Weekly playlist time - so err the Best of Canada

Introduction

We like to do curated playlists and also we are featured in hundreds of playlists on Spotify and wanted to higlight a few. We are always looking for suggestions for our playlist, so if you have a good idea then post a link to spotify in the comments!

This weeks playlist is all about Canada....You might ask why are we doing of a best of Canada. Well we have someone we are working with at the moment who is Canadian and we have been having lots of debates about what music is actually from Canada and then of course if it is actually any good. We have been adding to this playlist independantly so it is nice to listen to some new songs to me too. We only just started this playlist so if you have a good suggestion then let us know in the comments!

Here are some highlights for this weeks playlist:

Ok so this was a classic of its time and she starts her Bio on spotify with "Canadian singer songwriter"....so is definitely in! Great song from a classic album of its time.

This next song was a no brainer as he is one of Canada's big exports. I am informed when this comes on in clubs in Canada people lose it...I just know him from the Robin Hood film and like 1 million years in the UK charts!

Maybe one of the best lyricists to have ever lived and from reports from friends was brilliant live to. I love this song and I used to play it in pubs many years ago when I was cutting my teeth!

I think currently the biggest streaming song on Spotify with this catchy electro pop tune, how can you not love it!

Ok so its Lavigne, we used to play a game that if you heard one of her songs without putting it on yourself then you had been "Lavigned" so err count your self Lavigned....

Now for a little classic of its time....come on its fun and they are Canadian so they probably really nice too.

Never knew this artists but recognise the song from some Adverts in the UK. Very nice vibe that is for sure
