Three Tune Tuesday - The best reggae album of all time right?

Introduction

@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it and some of the posts @stickupmusic has been doing it but I though I would join in too. it is a great way to listen to new music which is always something we want to do!

Our picks

This week we are all about the legend that is Bob Marley, not an original choice or anything new but this morning I just fancied a bit of reggae and what better than the cool vibes of Marley. There is a reason he is considered a legend and listening again to him this morning reminds me why.

Song 1

Ok now when we listen to things we will separate all the individual parts of a song and it is great to do with Bob marley as it is just so cool and there are often little things that make this groove so cool. Love the little leady type guitar on this one. I mean what I love about Bob is not just the band the wailers" but his music has a message and it is powerfully delivered, especially this song.

Song 2

Now the second song I always thought was an odd one, at what point did he hear this Bob Dylan song and decide to do a cover. the thing I love about Bob Dylan is that when people cover his excellent song writing they do it better and this is a prime example. I wish i had Bob Marley's backing singers available in the studio at all times.

Song 3

Now I would consider this maybe the best reggae album ever made. I know it is 3 song Tuesday and we picked 2 songs and an album but if you got shit to do today then just play this album and get on with it. It will help your day and is the best medicine.

We love all types of music and hope that you like our choices!

Big up all the music in the world and the joy we get making and listening to it!

Easily the best reggae of all time. Bob Marley really was the best, although I have many others that I love to listen to. But I always come back to Bob, great post!

Hard to say, but I'd choose from Lee Perry's Arkology or Megathon Dub... maybe. Thats a tricky question!
(Bob Marly is great ofc, thats out of the question.)

Great album indeed. The greatest reggae album ever is a tough call.
For me Heart of the Congos is right up there.

Most Bob Dylan songs are better when done by someone else. I remember when Marley died. He really made reggae big.
