Three Tune Tuesday - Buffalo's are out and a bout

Introduction

@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it and some of the posts @stickupmusic has been doing it but I though I would join in too. it is a great way to listen to new music which is always something we want to do! It is nice to sit down on a Tuesday morning and listen to some tunes and I usually have them on all morning.

Our picks

This week we are all about the wonderful vibes of Grant Lee Buffalo the US bassed rock band? Now I have not listened to this for time and I don't know why it came in my head. I am only going to pick 3 songs from the first album "Fuzzy". They had already made a few albums together before making this and you can tell they were more than ready to make this brilliantly written and played album.

Song 1

This was the first song off the album Fuzzy and it has a folk vibe to it on some levels with the jangling guitars but also within the guitars you can hear the rock influences. Also listen right to the end having the piano player having a fit.

Song 2

This feels like a pure indie song of its time. Great vocals and pianos on this but the vibe reminds me of many contempoarry indie artists of the time especially the vocals.

Song 3

Now we are all crazy right? I used to have a friend who loved this song so they used to make me sing this all the time, luckily it is not very hard to play and does not have many chords.....a beautiful song in its meaning and its simplicity.
