Three tune Tuesday and Mark Ronson the funky producer who is breaking hearts....

Introduction

@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it and some of the posts @stickupmusic has been doing it but I though I would join in too. it is a great way to listen to new music which is always something we want to do!

Our picks

This week we are all about Mark Ronson, who is probably one of the most influential producers of the last few decades. We have certainly found him inspirational as a producer and have been to see him live before, which was great. He really has made his mark as a producer and if you look at what he has achieved over the last 20 years it is incredible.

Song 1

Now his first album I know was him getting famous people to cover other peoples songs. It is a really interesting album and this song by the late Amy Winehouse is definitely one of the highlights. Again his production and sensitivity to the song and artist are clearly demonstrated here. And of course his icon Brass arrangements that he got known for early on.

Song 2

One of the biggest songs from about 9 years ago, you could not miss it! I mean it was over played to the point that I did not want to hear it again. However showing again his ability to produce perfect funk pop with top artists shows you how well he has done.

Song 3

Now this song with Miley is him breaky genre boundaries again and applying his skills to essentially Country pop music! I have to say the arrangement of this song with the string is fantastic. It is like a perfect song and it has been on our playlists a lot and for about a year after release it was a firm favourite. The guitar is also lovely and video is cool and the vocal/lryics are perfect. Not sure what more to say other than have a listen!
