Three tune Tuesday and feeling Mighty!
Introduction
@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it and some of the posts @stickupmusic has been doing it but I though I would join in too. it is a great way to listen to new music which is always something we want to do!
Our picks
This week we are all about the Mighty Conchords, aparently an American show made about 2 New Zealanders! It is about their musical journey and involves some classic comedy songs! You can have a look at the wiki here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_of_the_Conchords_(TV_series)
This is a show where the songs are as catchy as it is funny. They are the kind of songs we all make when we are really drunk! I love the way they cross genres and do it so well, taking the micky out of lots of different artists on the way! I have to say if you not heard them or seen it then you should, it is small but Mighty in the way it is crafted!

Ok this first one can literally be me and Brains on a night out. When we were doing lots of shows and festivals this is what we would be like in the after show parties.... Anyways Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros is a classic of theirs and we still quote it now! Remember "I'm the motherflipper"....
Song 2
Ok so they are not particularly politically correct. So this little live version of their song Albi - the racist dragon demonstrates this. I wish we had gone to see them live. I like the fact they took it on tour and it also showed off their obvious musical skill!
Song 3
Now this last song "robots" made us laugh for days and again we still mention it occasionally. Being in the music business we love them making their video and how err high quality it is. It also has many geek references in it which appeals to our geek side!
