Three tune Tuesday and Aimme Mann a song writer to take note off!

Introduction

@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it we have not joined in for a while but though we would share and listen to some music this week as we were chillin.

Our picks

This week we are all about Aimme Mann. She is an American singer songwriter who writes some cracking songs. We were lucky enough to see her once in London and she has an amazing stage presence. She was also taking requests of anything from the audience and just gave the songs a go even though she could not remember them! I mean in many ways I think she is underrated as if you like rock/pop female led music then the kind of influence she has had can be heard from artists like Avril Lavigne to Pink as well as many others.

Song 1

She generally has some lovely production and the arrangements are always spot on. Stupid thing is probably one of the first songs I heard by her and the guitars are lovely. The song builds and build beautifully.

Song 2

The second song is off the same album and was used in the series Cruel intentions. She has done a lot of songs that pop up in films and TV. She even performed at the Bronze in a episode of Buffy the Vampire slayer for all you Buffy fans out there! She fatures on other films like Jerry Mcguire but also did the soundtrack for the film Magnolia.

Song 3

For our third pick we picked "Lost in space" off her 4th album which she had complete control over. We picked a live performance which is a stripped back version and you can see how mad and cool she is!

Bonus pick

This is such a great piece of writing we had to add it to the list. The guitars and vocals are flawless.

Hey lads, somehow missed this last week, so will include in this week's roundup, what a gorgeous voice Aimee has, Stupid Thing is a great song and a great opener for the week.
