Introduction
Hi Hive People
Thought I should put a line or two down to introduce myself.
I didn’t really start playing a guitar seriously until about ten or twelve years ago, which is when I joined my first band.
I did play before then, but just a few party pieces.
I never learned to read music, and thought 'Tab' was an early low calorie soft drink.
I play lots of stuff, (you can find some of it on SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/casey_jones1) but am always in awe of those who can write their own material. @steevc and @todayslight spring immediately to mind.
When the band folded in 2016 I became involved in the local music scene, playing a number of Open Mics in the area and joining The Arlesey Jammers, where I met some of the people wo would later introduce me to Hive, @steevc in particular.
It's not unusual to see me riding a motorcycle to this or that Open Mic, with a guitar strapped to my back.
..and I hope to post from some more exotic locations soon, as I am taking the strings on a solo motorcycle tour of Europe and Asia.
I love variety in music but most of all I love energy and enthusiasm from those playing it. I hope to find both here in abundance.
I hope you enjoy the songs I hope to post, and I look forward to hearing yours.

Great to see you here at last. I didn't realise you hadn't been playing so long, but you've really taken to it. One of these days we'll do that interview for my podcast, which I need to get back into.

Your niche, hobby, views or new ideas are appreciated and will be read. If you have questions let us on hive know. There are many hivers that will help , if you ask your questions in comments or in a discord!
There is so much so all topics will have a place here. The hivinguniverse is so diverse it’s suitable for all of us. See the list of all communities on hive in your front end drop down menu. ( sound difficult but it’s the row on the left 😉 ) never give any of your passwords and please don’t click on links you get in comments in the beginning that can cause theft. Later in you will know what to click and what not.
There is a Discord called The Terminal for newbies and it has all the answers to your questions, join in, it’s free.
I am on Hive everyday ! You can always leave a comment. And we all have been ther so please don’t be afraid to ask there is so much that the beginning can be daunting and scary.
