Hello Afri-tunes. Greetings and compliments of the season to all musicians and members of the community. Glad y'all made it to Christmas and into the last week of the year, the God who started it all is gonna make sure we see the very end of this year in Jesus name... So I'm here with my entry for week 94. I appreciate every entry that has come in so far and I'm just here with mine to complement them.

After having had our Christmas week in week 93, most entries this week have been centered around praise to God. We've had way more gospel songs than usual and this is cause folks are reflecting on the year that's concluding and are grateful, and I am no different... In this appreciation and acknowledgement mode, a song that came to my mind is E-strong and I was really surprised cos it's been a while and I usually am not in the habit of doing songs by artists who I actually know in person, not to talk of one who is my friend and a brother to me. Anyway I decided to just go with it cos there must be a reason.

The song talks about the love of God being the strongest force ever. It was released in 2019 as Femi Matthew's debut track and since then he has gone on to record two live albums with his team which one or two people here are a member of... This was a throwback for me and I made a mistake with the lyrics entering into the bridge but of course enjoyed making the cover and hope you enjoy it too and can relate.
