I think you do get what you pay for to a certain degree with these things and generic brands don't have a reputation to defend. I think I have said that I am happy with my Shokz bone conduction headphones that have survived a few years now. They take a little getting used to and don't block any outside noise, but I like them. I do not get on with any I have to stick right in my ears.

I'll look at those next I guess. Mostly I look for good sound quality and battery life. are these the ones that connect around the back of the ear? I too am not a fan of inserting something into my ears but that seems to be the norm with most of what I see these days.
