Is that a Nord keyboard? I see a lot of people using them, but I know nothing about that stuff. I just have my cheap Casio that doesn't get played much. I ought to set it up, but there's no space and my right hand can't play chords well now.
You don't see so many pianists at open mics, but they can be really good. Of course @purplesinger is a great example :) Back in the day she just used to bring a guitar to the White Horse.

It is a Nord, yes.
I don't think I've ever seen her with a guitar.. haha
They sure are a rarity.. this guy was really good!
Another nice crowd and so close.. :)
She and I learned classical guitar with the same teacher and may even have played together. She kept it up longer than I did.
Ah, yes, I think you told me that before.. lol
My hands don't like the guitar much these days...I can't be putting myself through that pain...plus my fingers have gotten too soft to play for any length of time. Nord keyboards are nice but way too expensive for me..I tend to throw mine in and out of the car. A posh keybord like that wouldn't last me very long. You can throw a Casio around but you won't break it without trying really hard.
