Slap a Fender Jazz bass Ultra 5 string!
Big Band, May 16 2025.
This song is called "Some Skunk Funk" and it's by Randy Brecker or "The Brecker Brothers."
We also played "Some Skunk Funk" for the outdoor concert earlier in the semester.
This song seems crazy at first, but if you listen to the original or the 1980 live versions a million times... and play it all really really slow, it starts to seems normal.
I did some "weird/silly" bass stuff. Maybe, "flashy" is a better word... "funky flashy" is maybe the better...

I know, there are a lot of bass videos. Most videos are single songs and some are two or three songs per video. It’s hard to tell who wants to let something play-on while they chill, as opposed to a viewer that only wants 30 seconds. Comments on this topic are welcome.
