”Children Of Sanchez”
No rehearsal, no discussion, it’s a rare tune. The bass part has challenges. The written bass part on the chart is simplified and I don’t hate it. The original bass part is epic and I love it. Naturally, I’ve chosen the difficult path. I’m simplifying my path by incorporating both the written part and the part played by Chuck’s bass player Charles Meeks.
The bass part is not famous. Yet. it’s specific is some parts. This is award “spanish sounding song on top of #samba IMFHO. The bass part is that middy-high plucky-farty finger style that Charles Meeks and jaco do so well.
I do it. I wan’t allowed in the past, but I’m grateful. Low and phat and stopped bass notes are important too.

Thanks for your comment. That is a new camera. I’m surprised I didn’t mention it in the post. That’s the GoPro black mini 11. I like it, but it doesn’t have the best battery. I might actually buy a new one, even though it’s a six or seven year-old camera.
