Yes, the song a reverse on itself. Almost like backwards except the arrangement is the same. The song’s arrangement is not backward. 100% backwards wouldn’t have produced the same effect. Only parts of the song are backwards. The forward playing section have a reversed version on top/blended in to give a dark and ghostly feel to the song. The kick drum has a cool revers intensity to it because of the backwards kick from mixed in. Thankfully, Cumbia Transmission is all in one key signature and doesn’t have more than one chord.
