Yes, bari sax!!! Those guys a cool. Sometimes my Bass parts are the same as theirs. Sometimes it’s the same and I don’t realize it. I start going all over the place and these guys don’t say anything, so sometimes I need to check in with the bari sax player. I ask him if we have similar written parts. It’s great to have the Bass do improvisational stuff, but I would rather do it when it’s not confusing to the bari sax player.

I played alto and also saprano sax in a quartet in college.. jazz band was my favorite although i did like marching too. I never tried bari sax, but its a cool sound. 🎶🎶😎🤙🎶🎶
