La canción trata sobre la mujer Sunamita.El capítulo narra desde el versículo 8 cómo una mujer pudiente de Sunem reconoce la santidad del profeta Eliseo y le ofrece la hospitalidad de su casa, debido a sus frecuentes viajes por la región y, eventualmente, recurre a su intervención milagrosa ante Dios para poder tener descendencia, en forma de un hijo que nace.

The song is about the Shunammite woman. The chapter narrates from verse 8 how a wealthy woman from Shunem recognizes the holiness of the prophet Elisha and offers him the hospitality of her home, due to her frequent trips around the region and, eventually, resorts to his miraculous intervention before God to be able to have offspring, in the form of a son who is born.
