ACCEPT

Theme:BALLS TO THE WALL.
Disc:Balls To The Wall.
Year:1984.

With a pair of balls, yes sir. That's how the Teutonic Accept rocked, ahead of their time as far as metal hardness levels were concerned, and, therefore, enormously influential. Few people stepped on the accelerator as much as them and almost nobody was able to reach the heights of terrifying power and bloody volume that they captured in their records.

Cover single

“Balls To The Wall”, released after the celebrated ‘Restless & Wild’, basic work to understand the structures of modern extreme metal, is their most popular album. Although slightly more melodic than its predecessor, the Germans continued to deliver thrash left, right and centre and without barriers on their third full-length, with a purely heavy power bordering on thrash.

The title track was the ideal way to open fire, a hot and piercing shot of tight leather and lascivious steel, a masterpiece of headbanging. Pure sonic violence, propelled by bloodthirsty and brutally fast guitars by Wolf Hoffman and Herman Frank, and the hurtful voice of a Udo Dirkschneider possessed by a hysterical spasm. Irresistibly bestial.

My people, thank you for reading me and I hope you like this report of this editorial of legendary rock songs. A thousand blessings to all and see you in a new post with more of these editorial editions.
