All-Time Favourite Song, A Myth or a Reality?
The word "Favourite" fits in properly for most things in life but then, coming to musics, I tend to find it very hard to make use of it especially when no duration is given, hehe.
What I'm trying to say is that I personally don't think I have a music I can comfortably call my All-time-Music because many things affects our music choices on daily basis and because of these factors, a music we saw as our favourite can get down too low to be a music we don't want to hear and likewise could a music we didn't like at first spike up to be our favourite music.

Our favourite song selection is also affected by the artist in question.
Most of us have an artist we so much love and whenever they release a new song, because of our love for them, their songs tops our charts for a long time.
- Mood
Songs are all about moods.
The mood we are in affects greater percentage of our song picks.
There are many genres of songs and sometimes we might just want to listen to a particular genre and that will be our favourite song for that period of time.
- Timing
Time of the day is another great factor that affects our choice of song selection.
Generally because of how calm the night is, most of us will prefer to play cool musics at night and then play the hip hops during the day to enjoy the songs very well.... This also affects our choice of song for the period of time.
- Current desires
This is a funny one but it's true.
Most persons for instance will likely play gospel Musics all through when they are writing exams or when they need a favour from God and once they have achieved what they wanted, they will immediately revert back to playing other songs they want.

With all these points, I hope you can flow with me of the reason I agree that saying I have an all time favourite song is a myth.
Nevertheless, I am going to share my favourite song for last week and so far this week that just started and it's no other song other than Perfect by Sam Smith.
Sam Smith is actually one of my favourite Blues'artist and I enjoy his songs very much.
Perfect is not a new song per say but I recently came across it again and it reminded me of how I loved the song when it was released.
It's a song with beautiful lyrics and melody with Iots of message to convey especially when he said, he's not perfect but he's working on it.
Reminds all of us that no one is perfect but we keep working on ourselves to get better even though we can't attain perfection, hehe.
It's a beautiful song I believe you'll also enjoy.

I am not a music lover but I think it's impossible for human to select only one music because the opinion of human change with time. So depend on various kind of factor you mentioned here in my opinion.
