Saludos a todos los que hacen vida en esta comunidad, quiero mostrarles en un corto video y contarles como ha sido mi experiencia asistiendo a los recitales y clases del sistema.
El sistema de orquesta es un programa social y cultural abierto a niños y jóvenes, se basa en enseñar música de forma colectiva e individual utilizando instrumentos de orquesta sinfónica y coral.
Hace dos meses me enteré de que una amiga había sido seleccionada para ser profesora en el sistema que existe en mi comunidad más detalles en este post, entonces le mencioné mis ganas de estudiar, aprender y ser parte y ella me dijo que aunque ya soy adulta podía entrar si quería por lo que comencé en la coral y también en las clases de flauta dulce. 😬
La experiencia de asistir a clases con niños fue muy divertida y aunque solo tuvimos 3 clases antes del recital de fin de año yo me sentía entusiasmada y alegré con lo que había aprendido, pero lamentablemente el día de la presentación coincido con el día de ingreso de mi mamá a una clínica, y aunque si asistí llegué tarde porque estaba corriendo con los asuntos de salud previos a la operación de mi madre.
Confieso que tenía muchos nervios en presentarme, sin embargo, sentía compromiso y responsabilidad con mis compañeros que son niños y jóvenes y también un compromiso con la profesora que es mi amiga, pero ella y el director conocían mi asunto personal.

Greetings to everyone in this community. I would like to show you a short video and tell you about my experience attending the system's recitals and classes.
The orchestra system is a social and cultural programme open to children and young people. It is based on teaching music collectively and individually using symphonic orchestra and choir instruments.
Two months ago, I found out that a friend had been selected to be a teacher in the system that exists in my community (more details in this post), so I mentioned my desire to study, learn and be part of it, and she told me that even though I am already an adult, I could join if I wanted to, so I started in the choir and also in the recorder classes. 😬
The experience of attending classes with children was a lot of fun, and although we only had three classes before the end-of-year recital, I felt excited and happy with what I had learned. Unfortunately, the day of the performance coincided with my mum's admission to a clinic, and although I did attend, I arrived late because I was rushing around dealing with my mum's pre-operation health issues.
I confess that I was very nervous about performing, but I felt a sense of commitment and responsibility to my classmates, who are children and young people, and also a commitment to the teacher, who is my friend, but she and the director were aware of my personal situation.
Programa de coral
La coral de voces blancas estaba a cargo de la profesora Alecia Herrera, otra profesora de coral, ella presentó la canción “Venezuela qué bella eres” que es un poema de Elba González donde expresa un profundo amor y conexión con su país Venezuela, destacando la belleza del país, a través de recuerdos de su infancia y juventud muy apropiada para los venezolanos que emigraron y extrañan su tierra.
Luego cantaron una canción africana usada en las corales infantiles en su iniciación que olvidé el nombre, me gusta porque combinan gestos y sonidos de manos y pies con la voz.
Y por último la canción “El Papagayo” de Serenata Guayanesa, esta tiene una letra bellísima y música que gusta a niños, a y adultos, parte de su letra es la siguiente:

Programa de flauta
Realizado por la profesora Maira Martínez, cabe destacar que solo se dieron tres clases antes de la presentación como emocioné anteriormente y todos los niños son nuevos con la flauta, este grupo es reducido unos 6 estudiantes y asistieron 3 nada más para el cierre, lo único que se pudo practicar fue la típica canción “Estrellita ¿dónde estás?”

Choir programme
The children's choir was led by Alecia Herrera, another choir teacher. She presented the song "Venezuela qué bella eres" (Venezuela, how beautiful you are), a poem by Elba González in which she expresses her deep love and connection with her country, Venezuela, highlighting its beauty through memories of her childhood and youth, which is very appropriate for Venezuelans who have emigrated and miss their homeland.
Then they sang an African song used in children's choirs during their initiation, the name of which I forgot. I like it because it combines gestures and sounds made with the hands and feet with the voice.
And finally, the song "El Papagayo" by Serenata Guayanesa, which has beautiful lyrics and music that appeals to children and adults alike. Part of the lyrics are as follows:

Flute programme
Performed by teacher Maira Martínez, it should be noted that there were only three classes before the performance, as I mentioned earlier, and all the children are new to the flute. This group is small, with about six students, and only three attended the closing performance. The only thing they were able to practise was the traditional song "Estrellita ¿dónde estás?"

Esa es la africana, mi grupo práctico una que se llama sisi más linda, pero bueno no llegué a cantarla. Me alegro haberte traído bonitos recuerdos 😉
