Today I also want to be inspired by the drawing style of one of my favorite series Adventure Time to try to bring its style to the characters of Rising Star Game. Hace rato que no abro el juego, y es que en estos días mi nivel de conectividad ha sido mínimo, aun así no quiero perder la costumbre, no tengo nuevas cartas pero sí tengo una de mis favoritas a las que le puedo hacer un fan art para compartir con la comunidad, así que hoy llega nuevamente armado de su guitarra y con mucha música: Trenton Lundy. Hoy quiero inspirarme también en el estilo de dibujo de una de mis series favoritas Adventure Time para tratar de llevar su estilo a los personajes de Rising Star Game. Sin más les comparto el fan art finalizado, un poco del proceso de dibujo y la carta de la cual está inspirado. ¡Comencemos!

I think in the final version the inspiration from Adventure Time is quite noticeable, especially in the shape of the hands and the long legs. I’m very happy with the result. Of course, I also share with you the original card on which it is based.

Creo que en la versión final se nota bien la inspiración en Adventure Time, sobre todo en la forma de las manos y las piernas tan alargadas. Estoy muy contento con el resultado. Por supuesto, también les comparto la carta original en la que se inspira.

As you can see, this is how my sketch turned out, all ready to begin the lineart. The Adventure Time style stands out for its simple thin black lines and flat colors, and I tried to respect that as much as possible.

Como ven, así quedó mi boceto con todo listo para comenzar el lineart. El estilo de Adventure Time se destaca por líneas finas simples en negro y colores planos, traté de respetar eso al máximo.

With all this in mind, I left my line art ready to begin coloring, but I don’t want to make it too simple and flat, so I will add some details of light and shadow and a few gradients.

Con todo esto en mente dejé mi line art listo para comenzar a colorear, pero no quisiera hacerlo tan simple y plano, así que agregaré algunos detalles de luces y sombras y algunos degradados.
