Festival Rock al Parque, Bogotá 2023 🤘🏼🎶🔊

Welcome to my blog!

For the first time I attended the Rock al Parque Festival in Colombia.

This is an emblematic festival for the city of Bogota, in 1995 the first was held and there are already 25 editions that were only passed during the pandemic for security reasons.

This took place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, which was a holiday, it should be noted that it is a totally free event. For this event people come from other countries, from the Colombian interior and it becomes a tide of very diverse people who come to feel the power of rock..

There are many local bands and very famous international bands. Apocalyptica, Over Kill, Foto Paez, Aterciopelados, Juanes, Café Tacuba have performed.

Representing Venezuela have been bands like Los amigos Invisibles Papashanty, Okills, Desorden Público, Zapato 3, Los mentas and many more.

This year the band La Vida Bohem, of which they have been fans for many years, performed on behalf of our country. The presentation was wonderful and very emotional, singing in another country with a Venezuelan band and feeling that famiriality with their songs was incredible. Also, seeing the amount of people chanting their songs made me feel very proud.

This alternative rock band is the city of Caracas, their music fused with rock, jazz, funk and even some disco music made everyone jump in their presentation. They also thanked the Colombians for welcoming so many Venezuelans and giving support to many of them.

The festival has three stages that present artists simultaneously. We moved to the main stage to see Los Aterciopelados who celebrated the 28th anniversary of their album El Dorado and the 58th birthday of their singer Andrea Echeverri who was very emotional as she sang along with all the people who chanted her songs.

It was an incredible show full of color and beautiful music.

At this point of the concert the place was totally full and we watched the concert through the screens because it was impossible to get close to the stage.

Music unites us, transmutes energy and envelops us in its notes to make us jump, sing and shout in unison.

A festival worth knowing and experiencing. It is excellent that the states make this kind of events to encourage cultural union and musical promotion for all generations.
