🎨🎨 Creative district, San felipe, Bogotá 🎨🎨

Creativity is a part of the human being that we should always stimulate, to encourage new thoughts, actions and create new habits.
This Sunday my husband and I went on a tour of the cultural zone of San Felipe, in Bogota.

This sector of Bogota, has expanded as one of the most art-filled areas of the city. There are more than 12 art galleries, its restaurants are full of art and workshops, its streets are full of lights and street murals. It is an excellent place to walk and recreate the view.

Yesterday we were able to observe the students of the Guerrero arts academy painting with charcoal on ecological paper canvases, a beauty to see the artists working live and in collaboration.

We were walking among several art exhibits, where we could see photography, contemporary art and some very well executed sculptures.

We were delighted to see the number of new restaurants that have opened in the area, perfect for desserts or a good Argentinean grill.

These spaces are one of my favorites in Bogota, full of culture, recreation for all ages and that magical touch that art has as a manifestation of being.

This time we also noticed that there were several fairs of entrepreneurship, graphic art, second-hand clothing, accessories, etc.. We could not enter all of them because there were many people coming and going and we are more on a tour plan.

We saw a typewriter made entirely of pasta, which seemed to me a very bold work; also some sculptures made with nail polish and sequins, very beautiful and when we saw them up close we could appreciate a rigorous detail in each piece.

At dusk we sat down to talk for a while, to appreciate the spaces where we live, many times we take these places for granted and they are very important for the development of communities free of crime and with stimuli for all.
I was delighted to return to these streets full of art, entrepreneurs, music, people eager to add to the city.

At the end we were watching a street circus show, with jugglers who also spit fire, the truth very surprising and fun.
I was very happy with my weekend outing.
If you are in Bogota, I invite you to come specifically to Parque La Araña, around this park there are more than five streets of art, food, entrepreneurship and wonderful things to take a good artistic stimulus in your brain and heart.
Feeding our spirit is as important as eating.
