Youtube Music Premium: ¿Es una buena adquisición?

Saludos, gente bonita y geek de esta comunidad. Les parecerá extraño esta publicación porque pareciera que hablo de música, pero no es tan así. Se trata más bien de las opciones que tenemos en el mercado de aplicaciones para acceder a todo lo que nos gusta.

Yo tengo un par de años pagando Spotify, pero este mes fue bastante complicado para mí pagar la membresía, por lo que decidí suspenderla. Pero yo no puedo vivir sin música, no sé lo que es pasar mi día sin escuchar absolutamente nada. Así que quise explorar un poco la aplicación de música de YouTube a ver que tal y me encontré con la gran sorpresa de que podía acceder a una prueba gratuita de la versión premium durante un mes y me encontré con cosas geniales.

I've been paying for Spotify for a couple of years, but this month it was quite complicated for me to pay for the membership, so I decided to suspend it. But I can't live without music, I don't know what it's like to go through my day without listening to absolutely nothing. So I wanted to explore a bit the YouTube music app to see how it was. I found the great surprise that I could access a free trial of the premium version for a month, and I found some great stuff.

Debo confesarles que estaba completamente perdida; ya estaba acostumbrada a la aplicación anterior y se me hacía muy raro todo. Pero no es más que cuestión de empezar a ubicar cosas. Primero, lo que más me costó fue buscar música, así que empecé a buscar playlists prediseñadas para ubicar a mis artistas favoritos. Una vez ubicados, empecé a guardar estas playlists en mi biblioteca. Me di cuenta de que en esta, estaban las playlists que he guardado en todos los años que tengo registrada en YouTube.

También en la opción de explorar podemos encontrar muchas cosas, entre estas cosas, la música más sonada en los últimos días, así como los últimos lanzamientos de discos y sencillos. Así mismo, existe una sección llamada “Samples” que no es más que muestras de segundos de videos musicales que nos pueden gustar y nos ayudarán a conseguir más música.

I must confess that I was completely lost; I was already used to the previous application and it was all very strange. But it's just a matter of finding things. First, the hardest thing for me was to search for music, so I started looking for pre-designed playlists to locate my favorite artists. Once located, I started saving these playlists in my library. I realized that in this one, there were the playlists that I have saved in all the years that I have registered on YouTube.

Also in the option to explore, we can find many things, among these things, the most played music in recent days, as well as the latest releases of albums and singles. Besides, there is a section called “Samples” which is nothing more than samples of seconds of music videos that we may like and will help us to get more music.

Y por último, pero no menos importante: la música. La razón por la que ubiqué la aplicación. Cuando me puse los audífonos sentí que algo raro estaba ocurriendo, sentía que la calidad era superior y que era la primera vez que escuchaba estas canciones. Incluso, hice las comparaciones de una misma canción con las dos aplicaciones y efectivamente, había mejorado muchísimo.

Me parece superlindo, aunque sinceramente, yo no soy de ver mucho los videos como lo hacía anteriormente, porque escucho música mientras hago otras cosas. Otra opción que me gusta, y aunque es más de mi celular que de YouTube en sí, es el gadget de acceso directo que tengo en mi pantalla para acceder a lo último que he escuchado. Incluso, a las últimas listas que escuché.

And last but not least: the music. The reason I located the application. When I put on the headphones I felt that something strange was happening, I felt that the quality was superior and that it was the first time I listened to these songs. I even made comparisons of the same song with the two applications and indeed, it had improved a lot.

Among other things, in the actual application, we can see the video version of the song. I find it supercute, although honestly, I’m not much of a video watcher as I was before, because I listen to music while doing other things. Another option that I like, and although, it is more of my cell phone than YouTube itself, is the shortcut gadget that I have on my screen to access the last thing I've listened to. Even the last lists I listened to.

Apenas tengo tres días probando esto, pero ya estoy encantada. Lo que estoy considerando es probar varias aplicaciones, porque tengo entendido en algunas investigaciones que hice, que hay aplicaciones con mejor calidad de sonido que la de YouTube, aunque esta es bastante aceptable. Y pensándolo bien, no sé si cambiaría YouTube por otra opción, porque aunque no veo videos musicales, si veo muchas webs shows y esto me ayudaría muchísimo.

Y ya se me estaba olvidando mencionar lo mejor de tener una cuenta de YouTube Premium: no hay publicidad. Los molestos anuncios que nos cortan la emoción de ver nuestros videos, e incluso nuestra música, no aparecen más. Esta opción de Premium es válida para todo YouTube, no solo para la música. Para tener la prueba gratis deben acceder con una tarjeta de crédito. Yo utilicé mi tarjeta de Zinli para hacerlo. ¿Qué les parece esta opción?

I've only been trying this for three days, but I'm already delighted. What I am considering is to try several applications, because I understand from some research I did, that there are applications with better sound quality than YouTube, although this one is quite acceptable. And thinking about it, I don't know if I would change YouTube for another option, because although I do>n't watch music videos, I do watch a lot of web shows and this would help me a lot.

And I was forgetting to mention the best thing about having a YouTube Premium account: there are no ads. The annoying ads that cut the excitement of watching our videos, and even our music, do not appear anymore. This Premium option is valid for all of YouTube, not just music. To get the free trial, you must have a credit card. I used my Zinli card to do so, what do you think of this option?
