Sleight of Hand is one of the most layered and theatrical songs from the Wav Legion project, our 6th full-length release, produced by the brilliant Canadian musician and creative partner Wav-Dr.

This song is a genre-defying fusion of playful electro-pop, poetic hip-hop, and explosive rock, embodying both childhood wonder and shadow confrontation. It begins with a mischievous, vocal tease and evolves into a heartfelt chant of defiance and awakening.

The message at the heart of this track is simple but deep:
We are not broken. We are not what others have tried to convince us we are.
Every voice telling us we aren't enough—every system trying to brainwash our uniqueness out of us—is the real illusion.

The Sleight of Hand video is a surreal and symbolic journey through self-confrontation and cosmic awareness, styled in fusions of whimsy and metaphysical imagery. It tells the story of “Good side” and “Bad side” confronting their shadow selves in a strange mirror-world filled with tarot, twisted joker like presidents, and psychedelic diners in space.

This project was created in collaboration with ChatGPT and Sora, two incredible AI tools that helped bring the concept, visuals, and character world to life. While some of the imagery may be imperfect or dreamlike, I’ve found the quirks and glitches actually enhance the abstract meaning and tone of the song. It’s a co-creation between human soul and digital mind—and I’m proud of how it all came together.
