Dunes of the Silver Palace

The heat was humming long before I heard a sound.
Every grain beneath my feet was turning circles into ground.
A silver palace climbed the sky,
Then melted while I watched.
Teaching me that everything
We cling to must be lost.

The Poet poured a cup of stars
Into weather-beaten hands.
He never spoke of heaven...
He simply drew it in the sand.

He said,
"The desert keeps no records.
It only keeps the pace.
The ones who chase forever
Never see the hidden place."

So drink...
Before the morning changes.
Walk...
Before the pathway dies.

Some doors
Are never opened.

They remember
Your eyes.

I've crossed the oceans
Buried underneath my skin.
I've carried every ending
Just to find where I begin.

Every painting...
Every melody...
Every soul I've tried to save...

Was another step
Across the silence.

Where the rhythm...
Becomes the rest.

I have built a thousand kingdoms
Inside songs nobody knew.
Still I found another sunrise
Waiting somewhere past the blue.

Every scar became a compass.
Every failure learned to sing.
Every broken piece of living
Was another hidden spring.

The future wore old languages.
The ancients dreamed in light.
Arabic winds met neon skies
And danced throughout the night.

Nothing asked me to believe.

Everything...

Asked me to listen.

The palace isn't silver.

The palace
Is awareness.

The kingdom isn't distant.

The kingdom
Has your name.
