Sometimes a song finds you.
Stone began when I discovered Morktra's improvised acoustic looper performance, Improvised Acoustic Looper Guitar Journey | Drifting, Untethered, and Searching Through Sound. As I listened, I began hearing words within the music. What started as inspiration became a complete song, with lyrics and melodies emerging naturally from the journey his guitar created.
A heartfelt thank you to Morktra for creating the original improvised performance that inspired this piece.

Your performance was absolutely beautiful. The guitar is definitely the vessel for a journey through harmonies that, accompanied by your voice, sound even better. To be honest, you reminded me of when I first heard you seven years ago. I got that same feeling, that same vibe, from both the song and the video.
Those voices you heard I hear them sometimes, too. Especially when I’m walking long distances. That’s when life and the journey become the melody to follow, and I usually start singing whatever the moment calls for. What can I say? I know perfectly well that when the moment is right, you’ve got to seize it, ha ha ha...
