This is my live capture performance of I Am the Pisces.
No polish, just me, as raw, gritty and exposed as I could get it.
I painted my face and filtered it to move from black and white into color and back again, with a yellow warmth filter to add a grittier vibe because that’s what this feels like… slipping between numbness and everything all at once with the sun beating down and feeling super exposed. I didnt want to make it ugly but more real. Let me know what you guys think of this one.
This song is about feeling too much. Carrying what isn’t yours. Losing yourself in other people and trying to find where you actually begin.
I didn’t try to make this perfect. I wanted a very authentic vibe as a good friend of mine Randy Hoyle once said to me Shavon you gotta let those emotions show more, this one is for him.
Hopefully you can feel that as this was actually a hard one for me to post.
