This is my first official post here on 3speak. I would like to thank @meno for inviting me over to the community. My name is Shavon Bonnie Legion. I have been recording original music solo and in collaboration for over 15 years. I have dozens of album releases under the name Bonnie Legion/SoundLegion/WavLegion, and an original song catalog of over 2000 songs. I have worked with hundreds of producers in absolutely every genre there is from all over the globe. I have always enjoyed connecting with other artist. My goal in making music is to tell the truth of what it feels like to be human without dressing it up, selling it, or shrinking it to fit a trend. I make music to translate emotions that don’t have clean language, to leave a record of feeling, and to create something that people can sit with when they don’t feel understood.

Formerly known as Bonnie Legion, I am a multi-genre, collaborative music artist who has always been a singer-songwriter at heart. I play guitar primarily as a songwriting tool, but for much of my journey I’ve relied on other musicians and producers to create the tracks I write to. For a long time, that approach felt exactly right — it allowed me to collaborate with some truly incredible and talented people.

The emergence of Suno has been a genuine game-changer for me.

Through conversations with ChatGPT, I develop detailed prompts that are then shaped and refined inside Suno. It’s never a one-take process — it often takes many iterations to arrive at the sound I’m searching for. Once that sound is found, I download the instrumental stems from Suno and bring them into Sonar 7, my home studio environment, where I write original lyrics and record my vocals.

All vocal mixing is done in Sonar, followed by final mastering in BandLab.

The visual side of my work is created through a similar human-and-technology collaboration. I use ChatGPT to help edit and re-imagine personal photos and home-shot footage, which are then brought into Artlist to create subtle motion and atmosphere. The final videos combine real footage with AI-assisted imagery, forming a hybrid process that mirrors the music itself — human emotion shaped through modern tools.

I’ve always had a wild imagination and a deep sense that music and sound hold infinite possibility. This process represents a new chapter in my journey as a songwriter, and I look forward to creating many more tracks in this way.

Dreaming while awake, searching for meaning, and questioning what is real mirrors the experience of creating alongside AI — a space where ideas emerge from both human emotion and unseen systems. The song captures that disorientation and wonder at once, holding the tension between fear and hope as we navigate a new era of collaboration, uncertainty, and expanded possibility.
