Vibes Web3 music competition week 5– A cover of “Perfect” by soniadee
Hello everyone, this is Vibes Web3 music competition and here is my entry for Vibes Web3 week 5 music competition. A big shout out to @lordbutterfly. I did a cover of “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. “Perfect” is a romantic song that Ed Sheeran wrote and recorded, and it was released in 2017.Ed Sheeran typically sings about love, heartbreak, and everyday experiences,this particular song was a special dedication to his girlfriend at the time, who is now his wife. In the song, he reflects on how they fell in love as young kids without fully understanding the meaning of love, and expresses his excitement about building a future with her. With its heartfelt lyrics, Perfect is a wonderful choice for a wedding song for a slow dance, it also shows that Ed Sheeran values his wife for who she is, seeing her as perfect in his eyes.
I chose this song because it expresses the beauty of love, which I am passionate about. Love is a wonderful experience that is worth pursuing, especially when sharing it with someone who will support you through thick and thin. This song always brings back memories of my own relationship. How despite my imperfections, he sees me as a perfect fit for him and I am appreciative of that. In fact, I have chosen it as the song for my first dance with my husband at our wedding.
