Como saben, sigo compartiendo los momentos más especiales con ustedes. Hoy mi corazón se siente profundamente orgulloso de ser Venezolano y Villacurano. Ser testigo de la presentación de nuestras raíces es una experiencia que trasciende las palabras, y hoy tengo el honor de presentarles un material videográfico capturado desde mi teléfono (Redmi A5).
As you know, I continue to share the most special moments with you. Today my heart feels deeply proud to be Venezuelan and from Villa de Cura. Tuve la dicha de presenciar un evento magistral donde nuestra identidad nacional salió victoriosa. No fue una presentación cualquiera: hablamos de cinco Arpas llaneras sonando con un solo sentimiento: defender la música llanera venezolana. Tuvieron la dicha de ser presentados formalmente por la Directora de la Escuela de Música "Ángel Briceño", quien con sus palabras dio inicio a este despliegue de talento.
I had the joy of witnessing a masterful event where our national identity emerged victorious. It was not just any performance: we are talking about five llanera harps playing with a single feeling: to defend Venezuelan llanera music. They had the privilege of being formally introduced by the Director of the "Ángel Briceño" Music School, whose words set the stage for this display of talent.
Esta hazaña musical estuvo bajo la dirección del maestro de maestros, Ramón Páez, quien junto a sus alumnos: Josué Blanco, @yoxibeth Miguel Arteaga, Pedro Guevara y Josué Figueroa, nos demostró que el legado sigue más vivo que nunca. Fue un encuentro de gigantes donde también contamos con el respaldo incondicional de figuras fundamentales de nuestra cultura como el maestro @italozapata en el cuatro e Iván Zapata en el bajo. En las maracas, contamos con el baluarte de nuestra radio y folklore, el locutor Manuel González, un incansable defensor de lo nuestro.
This musical feat was under the direction of the master of masters, Ramón Páez, who along with his students: Josué Blanco, @yoxibeth Miguel Arteaga, Pedro Guevara, and Josué Figueroa, showed us that the legacy is more alive than ever. It was an encounter of giants where we also had the unconditional support of fundamental figures of our culture such as master @italozapata on the cuatro and Iván Zapata on the bass. On the maracas, we had the bastion of our radio and folklore, announcer Manuel González, a tireless defender of our traditions.
Fue un día cargado de una magia especial. Ver la mirada de las madres y de cada representante presente fue algo conmovedor; se quedaron admirados y con el alma llena al ver cada evento realizado. Fue hermoso ver a muchísimos alumnos de distintas clases demostrando con orgullo sus aprendizajes frente a sus madres, acompañados por sus profesores de cada cátedra. El brillo en los ojos de esas madres al ver el fruto del esfuerzo de sus hijos es lo que nos motiva a seguir adelante.
It was a day filled with a special magic. Seeing the expressions of the mothers and every representative present was deeply moving; they were left in awe and with full hearts witnessing everything that took place. It was beautiful to see so many students from different classes proudly demonstrating what they have learned in front of their mothers, accompanied by their teachers from each department. The spark in those mothers' eyes as they saw the fruit of their children's effort is what motivates us to keep going.
