Hey @sofeya01,

Covering a whitney houston song is always a brave and daring risk. It either pays off or is lacking in dynamics and varied factors in the performance. You gave a great effort but there were some areas you still need to work on.
As far as melody and emotion, you gave your rendition a solid effort. I liked the vibrato when it was smooth, but there is clear intonation and pitchiness throughout the performance but you also have some nice moments in the stable fluid sections. You seem to be straining your voice at the higher range notes and closing your breathing passage,

In order to hit higher notes securely and safely, you gotta aim the airflow to the top roof of your mouth, drop your jaw and provide enough breath control to sustain the note and your heard should be forward, not straining upward and backward, which closes the airway passage.

Oftentimes this limits the natural sound of the notes and it sounds more “forced” and painful even when trying to hit higher notes. It also sounds a bit squeaky and not as clean as your normal chest voice. You seemed a bit out of breath. Take your time and inhale deeper larger amounts of oxygen before handling those powerful sections. I hope this feedback helps you for your future entries. You have an overall good voice, keep practicing, thanks for sharing your gift
