Night in Salvador - Brazil Series #9 [ENG-ESP]

If by day it is a city with rhythm, cheerful and colorful, at night Salvador da Bahia lights up even more offering locals and foreigners the possibility to vibrate with the native music of the place.

Si de día es una ciudad con ritmo, alegre y colorida, de noche Salvador de Bahía se enciende aún más ofreciendo a locales y extranjeros la posibilidad de vibrar con la música autóctona del lugar.

If you have been following this series of my trip through Brazil, you will have seen in the previous post my tour of the capital of the state of Bahia and you will remember that the rhythms of Afro roots dominate this region.

Si vienen siguiendo esta serie de mi viaje por Brasil, habrán visto en la publicación anterior mi recorrido por la capital del estado de Bahía y recordarán que los ritmos de raíces afro dominan esta región.

On one of the two nights I spent in Salvador, I had the opportunity to see in the streets of Pelourinho, in the heart of the historic center, a group that performed during a free weekly event known as Terça da Bencâo (Blessed Tuesday), it is Swing do Pelo.

En una de las dos noches que pasé en Salvador, tuve la oportunidad de ver en las calles del Pelourinho, en el corazón del centro histórico, a una agrupación que se presentó durante un evento semanal gratuito conocido como Terça da Bencâo (Martes Bendito), se trata de Swing do Pelo.

This group performs the batucada, an Afro-Brazilian percussion rhythm that certainly leaves no one who hears it unmoved.

Esta agrupación ejecuta la batucada, ritmo afro brasileño de percusión que sin duda no deja inmóvil a nadie que lo escuche.

As it is evident in these photos that I share, the movement of the people of Swing do Pelo is quite energetic, and that is why my modest camera couldn't avoid capturing them without blurred parts. Anyway I think that gives a more vivid effect to these images, what do you think?

Como es evidente en estas fotos que comparto, el movimiento de la gente de Swing do Pelo es bastante enérgico, y por eso mi modesta cámara no pudo evitar captarlos sin partes borrosas. De todos modos creo que eso le da un efecto más vivo a estas imágenes, ¿ustedes qué opinan?
