My only vinyl record 🎶 Mi único disco de vinilo

Back in the '90s, when I was transitioning from childhood to adolescence, I started listening to a weekly radio program that played music from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, there the announcer also gave information and told anecdotes about the singers and groups he presented. Although at that time I already knew Elvis Presley, The Beatles, among other artists, this program made me more interested, and when I saw a record of the King of rock & roll in a store, I didn't hesitate to buy it.

Aunque en ese momento ya conocía a Elvis Presley, Los Beatles, entre otros artistas, este programa hizo que me interesara más, y cuando vi un disco del Rey del rock & roll en una tienda, no dudé en comprarlo.

The logical thing to do would have been to buy it on CD, but the store only had this Elvis record available on vinyl, and since the turntable in the house worked, I didn't care about the format and took it.

Lo lógico habría sido comprarlo en CD, pero en la tienda sólo tenían este disco de Elvis disponible en vinilo, y como el tocadiscos de la casa funcionaba, no me importó el formato y me lo llevé.

Plus my excitement was double, yes, because this album contained two discs with all of Presley's hits.

From that moment on I never stopped listening to those 38 songs, all of them were among the top ten most listened to in the years they were released.

Almost every afternoon I would put on one of the records, move the living room furniture around a bit, and dedicate myself to dancing, something like freestyle rock and roll 😂, or by imitating Elvis' famous moves, this also served as exercise.

As long as I don't have a device to play this record, I won't buy others, the King of Rock & Roll's will remain my only vinyl.

Mientras no tenga un aparato para reproducir este disco, no compraré otros, el del Rey del Rock & Roll seguirá siendo mi único vinilo.
