Time for a buzzing update! It's all been a sloth of late!

Good morning buzzers!

As per usual for sloth, we're playing catch up! There have been some technical difficulties over at Sloth.buzz the last week or two, which has limited the ability of the team to do 'basic' tasks like curations and curation reports. We've managed this morning to curate the previous week's content, however, the curation report is still on hiatus!

Let's get a buzz on!

We might aim to do smaller curations, or spotlights of certain posts, of course, users logging into sloth.buzz will be greeted with the main curated content for the week. Jump on over and check out this week's top content so far. From some awesome photography to some fiction writing. Not to mention our very own Slothburn's burn posts (keeping the slothbuzz inflation to a minimum!) and this week slothlydoesit has snuck his way into the top post spot with his Gnomeville Mysteries story as part of @TheAlliance' Snooks writing event. Also hitting the headlines is the recent @hmvf Music post/Artist interview

Today we're going to round up last week's meme contest, we had a midweek winner to the event and will probably restart one next week! We're also working out the best approach for future contests and user activities like Zealy and topic writing challenges.

Slothbuzz is buzzing

We've seen a general increase in activity at sloth.buzz, people are slothly but surely beginning to use the tag and site more often, earning the layer 2 Hive-engine token 'slothbuzz'. The main use case of the token remains for curating content. We have many plans for the future of slothbuzz and are aiming to have some interesting new products over the coming weeks. Don't forget to use the !sloth command as a curation tool to help spread the word of sloth.buzz and get more creators utilising this wonderful opportunity to be 'early' to a project.

The slothbuzz dev has recently moved house and is currently getting back into full swing. Recently our dev got Cryptoradio.fm back online at vimm and working hard on future updates! We don't want to over-promise and under-deliver so for now we suggest you continue building your stack by earning tokens or snapping up any bargains on the market you can get. Those tokens will be handy as we progress with the road map of buzz!

We look forward to seeing more of your content, remember, we're not a 'general' tribe, yet we accept most content, with a focus on Photography, Music, Crypto and Gaming.

Talking of gaming, has anyone tried been lucky enough to grab a Cryptoshot.nft alpha pass to test their new PvP mode? Or are you checking out Kingdom Karnage (and using ref slothbuzz for a mega welcome pack?)

Thanks for the support and tips!

(The Sloth tip didn't fire, as we mentioned, we want it to be used as a curation tip, so won't fire when 'spammed' with several other commands. Plus, the message it sends directs people to post to sloth.buzz, we're already using it 😁)

Thanks for the suggestion, we actually didn't know this worked until the other day, and now have that as back up! We had noticed not all posts were showing in the community, but utilising the tag via another frontend seems to work! We learn something new all the time!
