The post burns all author rewards, therefore reducing the total supply of those tokens. We've been doing it with slothbuzz tokens for some months, seems most of the other communities could do with shaving some of their supply to allow the price to rise also.

Well, I need some tokens to burn. In order to get them, I need to earn them. Of course, a project could burn their own tokens, but as a 'normal user' burning my author rewards is my contribution to the Hive ecosystem.

Slothburns main focus is burning tokens, 'all' of our posts 'should' be burn posts! As long as we remember to change it! We've also burnt tokens in our wallet from time to time, a lot of projects could do with copying us, I think! Too much inflation in the world is a bad thing!
