I have chosen this song because it's a song of thanksgiving and reverence to the one and only true God "Jesus Christ". Being alive, being hale and hearty, The air I breathe, having clothes to wear, food to eat and a roof over my head is all because of God's Grace and mercy, and not because I'm the most qualified nor the most holy. It's only because of His love towards mankind. I count it a privilege to worship Him, it's an honour to stand before Him and even converse with Him.
For who is man that God is mindful of him?
The song talks about how holy He is, the Almighty and can do anything He wants without being questioned,but still He chose us even while we were yet sinners, He died for us...Oh what manner of love is this!. It's a rare advantage that He has freely given to us to be able to worship Him and come before His presence. It is beneficial to us always and so we must come before Him with a grateful heart. All He wants is for us to Praise and worship Him albeit with a grateful heart for He is deserving of it, He is Sovereign, He is Great.
He listens to us when we call, He loves us even when we are undeserving,and helps us through life's journey. For this and more I'm grateful to God always. Hola comunidad de Afri-tunes, es la semana 84 de nuestro concurso semanal y, como siempre, estoy emocionado de compartir mi entrada.
Para la entrada de esta semana, interpretaría una canción del cantante y compositor de gospel nigeriano Sinach llamada "Great Are You Lord".
He elegido esta canción porque es un canto de acción de gracias y reverencia al único y verdadero Dios "Jesucristo". Estar vivo, estar sano y saludable, el aire que respiro, tener ropa que vestir, comida para comer y un techo sobre mi cabeza, todo se debe a la gracia y la misericordia de Dios, y no porque sea el más calificado ni el más santo. Es sólo por Su amor hacia la humanidad. Considero un privilegio adorarlo, es un honor estar ante Él e incluso conversar con Él.
¿Quién es el hombre para que Dios se acuerde de él?
La canción habla de lo santo que es Él, el Todopoderoso y que puede hacer lo que quiera sin ser cuestionado, pero aun así Él nos escogió aún cuando éramos pecadores, Él murió por nosotros... ¡Oh qué amor es este!. Es una rara ventaja que Él nos ha dado gratuitamente para poder adorarlo y presentarnos ante Su presencia. Siempre es beneficioso para nosotros y por eso debemos presentarnos ante Él con un corazón agradecido. Lo único que Él quiere es que lo alabemos y adoremos, aunque con un corazón agradecido porque Él lo merece, Él es Soberano, Él es Grande.
Él nos escucha cuando lo llamamos, nos ama incluso cuando no lo merecemos y nos ayuda en el camino de la vida. Por esto y más estoy siempre agradecido con Dios. Mi pregunta para todos los presentes sería... ¿Por qué estás agradecido? Estaría en la sección de comentarios para escucharlos a todos mis amigos.
