AFRI-TUNES WEEK #72/ NOBODY BY DJ NEPTUNE FT. JOEBOY & MR EAZI/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨. [ENG-ESP]

Hello Afri-tunes fam, I trust we all doing okay 🤍. It's week 72 of our weekly contest and as always I'm super excited to share my entry. Music is everything for me, Music is life. I was really happy when I saw the secular song selection for the week, it's a song I've performed severally...I've even performed it here before now😉, so it was an easy choice to make since it won't stress me lol😂 cause I know the whole song from top to bottom, even the chord progression isn't so complex 😎.

For this week I'd be performing a song by Nigerian disc jockey and record producer "DJ Neptune" called "Nobody". Neptune features Nigerian singers Joeboy and Mr Eazi on this groovy jam. This song was one of the biggest songs of the year 2020 and it's still a jam till date. It's one of the first songs I learnt to play on the guitar and y'all should know it's personal to me lol☺️...a song I love and enjoy so much, one of my favourite songs that I sing verbatim 😉.

The track is basically a love song, the featured artists both try to serenade a love interest with their sweet words hoping they can get her to themselves because they're beginning to feel very jealous and no longer want to see their love interest with anyone else.

The highly repeated hook does its job of engaging the listener completely before the artists then take advantage of the verses to entangle you into the beautiful world they've created in this vibe.

Hola familia de Afri-tunes, confío en que todos estemos bien 🤍. Es la semana 72 de nuestro concurso semanal y, como siempre, estoy muy emocionada de compartir mi participación. La música lo es todo para mí, la música es vida. Me alegré mucho cuando vi la selección de canciones seculares de la semana, es una canción que he interpretado por separado... Incluso la he interpretado aquí antes 😉, así que fue una elección fácil de hacer ya que no me estresará jajaja porque me sé toda la canción de arriba a abajo, incluso la progresión de acordes no es tan compleja 😎.

Para esta semana, interpretaría una canción del disc jockey y productor discográfico nigeriano "DJ Neptune" llamada "Nobody". Neptune presenta a los cantantes nigerianos Joeboy y Mr Eazi en esta genial jam. Esta canción fue una de las más importantes del año 2020 y sigue siendo un atasco hasta la fecha. Es una de las primeras canciones que aprendí a tocar con la guitarra y todos deben saber que es personal para mí lol☺️... una canción que amo y disfruto mucho, una de mis canciones favoritas que canto palabra por palabra 😉.

La canción es básicamente una canción de amor, los artistas destacados intentan darle una serenata a un interés amoroso con sus dulces palabras con la esperanza de poder tenerla para ellos porque están comenzando a sentirse muy celosos y ya no quieren ver a su interés amoroso con nadie más.

El gancho altamente repetido hace su trabajo de involucrar al oyente por completo antes de que los artistas aprovechen los versos para enredarte en el hermoso mundo que han creado en este ambiente.
