Shape & Form – Knot

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

A highly adaptable parasite possesses the remarkable ability to reconfigure itself into a myriad of shapes and forms, enabling it to integrate with any host it encounters. Sometimes it is methodical other times it is chaotic in its goal to invade the system it seeks to inhabit. Upon full integration, the parasite begins to influence the host's cognitive functions, gradually assuming control over various aspects of its existence.

As this process repeats across generations of life forms, the parasite evolves, diverging into distinct yet related organisms. These new variants begin to form complex relationships with one another, blurring the lines between host and symbiont. Over time, the concept of a pure biological organism becomes obsolete, replaced by an intricate ecosystem of intertwined life forms.

Only the resilient tardigrades remain unaltered, their unique biology renders them impervious to the symbiont's influence. These microscopic survivors silently observe the changed landscape plotting their eventual conquest of the parasitic ecosystem.

The video was created in Vray and composed in After Effects. Music was composed in MPC and mixed in Cakewalk. This is the sixth in a series of simple synthwave and electronic instrumentals. Eventually they will be composed into an album. That’s all for now, thanks for listening 😊
