Three Tune Tuesday - Killing Joke
Here are a few of my favorite songs from the band Killing Joke for #threetunetuesday by @ablaze
This is the song I first heard from them. It sort of has more of a new wave post punk sound to it. There's something about a slightly overdriven guitar with chorus on it that always grabs my attention.
Here's one of their later heavier songs. They kind of bounce back and forth betwern punk, metal and new wave in their songs. This one is more punk in its theme about too much surveillance via technology. If they had released this just a few years earlier I could see Beavis and Butthead headbanging to it on MTV lol, remember when that was a thing?
Speaking of MTV I vaguely remember this one playing regularly on there when I was a kid.
Here's a bonus video of goths dancing, the second song is 80s by Killing Joke. Look at all that flailing and sliding and big hair lol.

The eighties is a great piece! 😎
It definitely gets stuck in my head all the time, pretty catchy.
80ies is great, but my favorite song from them will always be Frenzy!
That's one of their more experimental ones. I got to see them open for Tool in 2019 they played all their big songs.
Thats some hardcord 80s lol. The good the bad the whole thing
I remember seeing the older high schoolers with big 80s hair when I was in elementary school. I wondered how on earth they managed to prop it up so high and fluffy.
Yeah, Eighties is a really fun song. I enjoyed that one quite a bit.
The video brings back some nostalgia of things I saw my parents watching on the nightly news.
Killing Joke are completely new to me, and they are well worth a listen, always great to have you taking part in #ttt
