Three Tune Tuesday - Eric Johnson
Here are a few of may favorite songs by Eric Johnson for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze
This first one is called Song for George. It has a drop d tuning and a swampy blues acoustic sound to it. I used to know a few riffs from it but never quite learned how to play the whole thing.
Here's a live version of his most famous song called Cliffs of Dover. It got even more famous later on because it got featured in the guitar hero game. Now its a staple commodity taught at all the school of rock stores for advanced students.
Here's a tribute song he did for Stevie Ray Vaughan. I thing the first song I posted is also a tribute to George Stait the country singer/guitarist.
That's all for now thanks for looking :-)

As you often do, sharing some awesome guitar work 👍 love that outfit in the second video. Sgt Peppers? 70's glam rock? 🤔
His outfits are always horrible lol. Pirate frills and bellboy big round buttons lol.
He's pretty good, those are some great picks!
His songs are quite difficult to learn, I should try and relearn song for george again.

He's one talented boy, these were a great watch and even better listen, thanks for that ear candy my friend. Keep em coming.
