Three Tune Tuesday - Best Galloping Metal Songs

avatar

Here are some galloping metal songs for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze

By galloping metal I say Iron Maiden is the poster child for this. Almost all their songs have that galloping beat and guitar riff like The Trooper.

Run to the hills is another classic galloping metal song perhaps the most iconic of them all.

Maybe its anything that Bruce Dickinson touches makes a galloping metal beat. Here's Abduction from a solo album. The sound is slightly more modern but because of the vocals I instantly thought it was Iron Maiden.

Seems this post turned out to be all about Iron Maiden. I can think of quite a few other galloping metal songs by the likes of Iced Earth and Amon Amarth but I wanted to keep it more classic this time.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

I am tempted to order some shirts with their album covers and bring them back in fashion around here...
