Dust and Grime - Partsocaster Improvisation
My tennis elbow has finally healed and I am able to play my guitars again. Time to wipe the dust and grime off my partsocaster and do a jam. Poor guitar was way out of tune and I ended up having to change the strings because of oxidization. For this improvisaion I made a simple midi drum pattern in ezdrummer then played whatever came to mind directly into my audio interface. Later I sliced up the guitar track into different tracks with some step sequencer and envelope effects to create more of a rhythm to the song. I also refined the drum beats to match the guitar parts better. Overall this jam is somewhat experimental but it turned out pretty good for not having played guitar for the past few months. Thankfully the muscle memory is all still intact.
Thanks for listening :-) #partsocaster #midimonday #improvisation

Thanks for providing the sound track for me catching up on hive today 🙂 Glad you are back at it.
Took forever to heal, that's what I get for picking up a kettle bell wrong lol.
Dust and grime, Maximus, dust and grime!
Haha shadows and dust... and a bit of grime lol
Somehow I just knew you’d know :) Well played my friend!
I remember it from the gladiator movie, can you believe they're trying to make a prequel to that movie now?
I can, however I don’t know why no one saw fit to tell me about this until now.
…it seems like it must be really hard to create a new storyline from scratch, because so many writes today seem more inclined to build new movies by extrapolating from the time lines of old movies and continuing the story from one end or the other…not always bad, but generally indicates to me a certain lack of creativity. However, I did like the original and could see the appeal to following Maximus into battle with his legions instead of his gladiator pals. Long story short, if they get Russel Crow, I’ll give it a shot :)
Excelente!!
Thanks again @brumest :-)
