Musical Monday: Tres gentiles y bonitas canciones para creer y crear un mundo mejor (Spn / Eng)
Greetings and a happy week to everyone. Today is Monday, March 31, 2025. This month is coming to a close and April is beginning, a month that's shaping up to be optimistic and fast-paced. Today I'm back to share with you another MUSICAL MONDAY, the wonderful musical initiative created by @eugelys, where we can share our memories and musical experiences.

I know that humans are social beings, that we relate, interact, and interconnect with others of our own species, but sometimes I think that such interaction should disappear. And I think this in light of the evil and harmful behavior of some individuals, and although it's not the norm, there are truly people who are annoying. But then I reflect and think that in the world (real and virtual), there are very good people, who have nice gestures and are full of kindness and good intentions, and then those dark thoughts pass. And something that helps me better surf the wave of negativity is listening to beautiful and gentle songs that fill me with joy and hope, melodies like the ones I've brought you today, songs for a better world. That said, let's look at the songs from my MUSICAL MONDAY.

Mis canciones para este Musical Monday / My songs for this Musical Monday
To open this MUSICAL MONDAY, I want to share with you a song that is well known all over the planet, since, in addition to being and still being played a lot on the radio and the Internet, it was the soundtrack of many television series, and this is the beautiful "Somewhere over the Rainbow", which was composed and sung by the Hawaiian Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwoʻole, who unfortunately passed away prematurely due to health problems. I think it is such a beautiful song, that both its melody and its lyrics fill me with hope and joy in believing that one day our world will be better. Here I share the official video.

Continuing with this trio of beautiful and gentle songs, I have brought you a classic from the 80s, the tender song "ACUARELA", which was written and performed by the Brazilian singer Antônio Pecci, better known as TOQUINHO. I love everything about Acuarela. It's a sweet song, with lyrics that, in short, say that you can paint the canvas of your life and create a world and an existence that suits you. Here I share the Spanish version and the original, in Portuguese.

And to end this hopeful and gentle MUSICAL MONDAY, I want to leave you with a song from the Spanish band “JARABE DE PALO”, the melody “BONITO”. Let us remember that the singer and composer of this band, PAU DONÉS died in 2020 as a result of colon cancer. I like many of the songs from “JARABE DE PALO”, but I like this one in particular the most, because it is fresh, optimistic, cheerful and happy, it is a song that inspires you to believe in a better world. Here I share the official video, as well as an excerpt from the last interview that Pau Donés gave before he died, an interview full of wisdom and love for life.
