THANKFUL FOR MY FATHER'S LIFE // WE CELEBRATE WITH ANGELA AGUILAR [ENG-ESP]
Greetings my dear musical friends.
Today my family is celebrating, because on a day like today 67 years ago my father began his journey through this life and we are definitely very grateful to God first of all for the joy and blessing of having our father, an exemplary man, full of love and much affection for his daughters and his entire family.
We know that life is very volatile, but we are blessed that my father continues to fill our lives with all his teachings, I remember when I was just a little girl how I always waited at the door of my house for my daddy to come home from work, he has always been a very hard working man, he left very early and arrived very late, but he always had that beautiful time to share with his daughters, even when he had long working days.
At night when I was very scared I would just go to the corner of his bed and he would give me space and lull me in his strong arms, I remember that he has always been for me like a super hero, since I can remember I have always admired him a lot to the point that when I was old enough to fall in love I always looked among the people around me for someone who would give me that security and love that my father always gave us since we were little.
I feel that if there is another life, I only ask God to allow me to be the one who fulfills the beautiful role of being my father, to be his blood that runs through my veins, as expressed in the song by Angela Aguilar called "Your Blood in my Body", the first time I heard this song I felt a deep connection with it, it was a couple of years ago and since then I usually dedicate it to my daddy regularly, it is like our hymn.
Although I left my childhood years ago, for my father we are still the flowers that embellish his garden, he loves us and takes care of us even when we are all adults and that same love is reflected with each of his grandchildren, my children adore him because he always fills them with his love and has that quality time to play with them, I love to see how he lets out his inner child throwing himself to the ground to be at the same level.
My daddy is like a big leafy tree that fills the whole family with shade, he is the patriarch of our big family, thanks to him I am who I am today, a person of values, principles and with a profession that represents me, because he has always encouraged me to give the best of me in every step I take, when things have been rough, he with his wise words has made me understand that everything in life has a timely solution as long as we have life.
From the bottom of my heart I ask God to allow us to continue holding his hand, to feel his warm hugs and his beautiful love as he has shown us for so many years. I love you daddy of my heart, thank you for being my hero, my confidant, my counselor, thank you for being the best daddy in the world.

Hoy mi familia está de fiesta, pues un día como hoy hace 67 años mi padre inicio su recorrido por esta vida y definitivamente estamos muy agradecidas con Dios primeramente por la alegría y la bendición de tener a nuestro padre, un hombre ejemplar, lleno de amor y mucho cariño para sus hijas y toda su familia.
Sabemos que la vida es muy volátil, pero contamos con la bendición de que mi padre continúe llenado nuestras vidas con todas sus enseñanzas, recuerdo cuando era tan solo una niña como esperaba siempre en la puerta de mi casa a que mi papi llegara del trabajo, siempre ha sido un hombre muy trabajador, salía muy temprano y llegaba muy tarde, pero siempre tenía ese tiempo hermoso para compartir con sus hijas, aun cuando tenía largas jornadas laborales.
Por las noches cuando tenía mucho miedo solo me iba a la esquina de su cama y el cómo todo padre consentidor me daba un espacio y me arrullaba entre sus fuertes brazos, recuerdo que él siempre ha sido para mí como un súper héroe, desde que tengo uso de razón siempre lo he admirado muchísimo al punto que cuando tuve edad de enamorarme siempre busque entre las personas de mi entorno alguien que me brindara esa seguridad y ese amor que mi padre siempre nos dio desde pequeñas.
Siento que si existe otra vida, solo le pido a Dios que me permita que sea el quien cumpla el hermoso rol de ser mi padre, que sea su sangre la que corra por mis venas, tal como lo expresa la canción de Ángela Aguilar denominada “Tu Sangre en mi Cuerpo", la primera vez que escuche esta canción sentí una profunda conexión con ella, fue hace un par de años y desde entonces suelo dedicársela a mi papito en regularmente, es como nuestro himno.
Aunque la etapa de mi niñez la deje hace muchos años atrás, para mi padre no hemos dejado de ser las flores que embellecen su jardín, nos ama y nos cuida aun cuando somos todas adultas y ese mismo amor lo refleja con cada uno de sus nietos, mis hijos lo adoran porque él siempre lo llena de su amor y tiene ese tiempo de calidad para jugar con ellos, me encanta ver como deja salir su niño interior lanzándose al suelo para estar a su mismo nivel.
Mi papito es como un gran arbolo frondoso que llena de sombra a toda la familia, es el patriarca de nuestra gran familia, gracias a el soy quien soy hoy en día, una persona de valores, principios y con una profesión que me representa, porque él siempre me ha animado a dar lo mejor de mí en cada paso que doy, cuando las cosas han estado rudas, el con sus sabias palabras me ha hecho entender que todo en la vida tiene una solución oportuna mientras tengamos vida.
Desde lo más profundo de mi corazón le pido a Dios que nos permita continuar estrechando su mano, sentir sus cálidos abrazos y su amor bonito como él nos lo ha reflejado desde hace tantos años. Te amo papito de mi corazón gracias por ser mi héroe, mi confidente, mi consejero, gracias por ser el mejor papá del mundo.
